so two-faced
filled with hate...
Some are unaware that in this world there exists infinite pain in
infinite humanoid forms
running forward screaming for someone to help them.
Some are abusers
Some are just reliving the past
Some are concentrated energy devoted to preventing future pains
Yet there is still a female body, distinct and familiar, lunging towards me in the distance
soon obscured by the infinite pained humanoid bodies throwing themselves
squarely between my psyche and the world
Until I realize that
The others scared me into thinking she needed to be beaten down
She needed to be restrained
She needed to be cured
I just hug her and see her disintegrate
I hug her the way a mom would hug her child
I hug her the way I wish I would have been held
